Marketing Coordinator

Are you looking for an exciting and creative career with exposure to all things marketing and communications? Margulies Perruzzi, an architectural and interior design firm based in Boston’s bustling Fort Point neighborhood, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join its marketing team. This position will be responsible for several tasks to support the marketing and communication needs of the firm. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will also work closely with the entire marketing and BD team.

The Marketing Coordinator role has a clearly defined career path with responsibilities and goals and direct mentorship.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the development of compelling proposals and presentations, including coordinating with internal and external project team members and maintaining and updating materials to support these efforts.
  • Provide updates to the firm’s marketing collateral.
  • Assist with developing, managing, and creating content for the firm’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Provide updates to the firm’s website using WordPress.
  • Assist with identifying and ordering promotional items.
  • Support the development of award submissions and maintain award schedules.
  • Involvement with Public Relations initiatives, including proofreading articles, press releases, and staff features.
  • Lead the drafting, disseminating, and pulling performance reports for marketing emails in HubSpot.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, PR, or business-related field.

1-3 years’ professional experience, including internship experience. A plus if in the A/E/C industry.

Excellent writing and proofreading skills.

Eye for design and graphic design capabilities.

Attention to detail and excellent organization skills to meet deadlines.

Ability to multitask.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A willingness to learn and master new skills.

Proficient in Adobe CC (InDesign is a must) and Microsoft Office; knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot, video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, Hootsuite, and Deltek are a plus.
