Technical Admin Assistant Intern

Job Title: Technical Admin Assistant Intern
Department: IT Product Team
Reports To: Director of IT Services

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Admin Assistant Intern to join our IT Product Team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client communication, proposal writing, research, and administrative support within a dynamic IT environment. The intern will work 10-20 hours per week, supporting the team by assisting with client needs research, liaising with the IT team, and promoting our services to clients. This hybrid position offers a flexible work schedule and provides the chance to learn from seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction & Communication:

  • Communicate with clients to understand their technical needs and promote our IT services.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the IT product team to ensure smooth communication and accurate understanding of client requirements.
  • Assist with writing and formatting proposals and other client-facing documents.

Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct research on client needs, market trends, and new technologies to help inform our service offerings.
  • Gather and organize data to support the IT team’s decision-making processes.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist the Director of IT Services with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, tracking project timelines, and maintaining documentation.
  • Help with organizing files, coordinating meetings, and ensuring that all team members have the resources they need.

Proposal Writing & Client Communication:

  • Draft and refine proposals tailored to client needs, ensuring they align with company capabilities.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and clarify any additional information.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in IT services and technology (prior experience not required).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.

Compensation:

  • $15/hour
  • 10-20 hours per week
  • Hybrid position
