Associate Immigration Attorney

Our immigration law firm is looking to onboard a new attorney who will use their initiative and integrity to help immigrants make their homes in the United States. This is a full-time, in-person position at our office in northeast Indianapolis. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet with potential clients to gather information and assess their immigration options
  • Communicate regularly with current clients
  • Review cases and assist paralegals in performing their duties
  • Prepare cases, particularly cases before EOIR, including motions and briefs
  • Conduct legal research
  • Accompany clients to USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings

Qualifications:

  • J.D.
  • Licensed attorney in good standing
  • Self-motivated to ask questions and take on tasks
  • Quick and eager learner
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to deadlines and detail

Highly preferred: 

  • Spanish language skills
  • Prior experience in immigration law

Compensation:

  • $70,000 to $145,000 salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
