Part-time Legal Writer and Researcher

Our immigration law firm is seeking polished, professional writers and researchers who are able to craft written arguments for inclusion in our legal briefs. 

You would be given a topic like one of the following

• inaccessibility of medical care in a particular country compared to the U.S. 
• earning potential and wage disparity for a particular career in a particular country compared to in the U.S.
• impact of educational opportunities on children in a particular country compared to the U.S.

and asked to research and appropriately cite to reliable sources demonstrating that our clients will face extreme hardship if removed to their particular country of origin. You will then write several paragraphs or pages supporting your topic and argument. 

The work will be intermittent; each project will have its own deadlines. The particular countries will vary, though Latin American countries are the most common. You must have access to reliable internet and word processing software. You can work from anywhere, entirely remote. This is part-time, on an assignment-only basis. There may be many weeks when you do not have assignments, then a few weeks where you are able to accept multiple assignments.

You must have excellent English, research, and writing skills, and a desire to assist immigrants.
