Digital Media Intern
SUMMARY
The Digital Media Intern supports the marketing team in content creation, social media management, website updates, and digital advertising to enhance Soltex’s online presence. This role provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, multimedia content creation, and analytics, helping to build brand awareness and customer engagement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in managing and enhancing social media content across various platforms.
- Support website updates, blog posts, and SEO optimization.
- Help design graphics, videos, and digital assets for marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and report on digital marketing performance metrics using analytics tools.
- Assist in email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and online promotions.
- Research industry trends, competitor strategies, and digital best practices.
- Support advertising campaigns, including PPC and social media ads.
- Help organize digital content libraries and maintain brand consistency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Premiere, Adobe Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and website management.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Interest in SEO, online advertising, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or operate office equipment.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch when handling media equipment or setting up digital content.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds for marketing materials, promotional items, or digital equipment.
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional remote work opportunities.
- May require extended screen time for digital design, content creation, and analytics review.
- Noise level is typically moderate, consistent with an office setting.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
- Monday to Friday
