Summer 2025 Press Intern (Iowa Connections Preferred)

The Republican Staff of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship is seeks a press intern for the summer of 2025. Responsibilities include assisting with drafting press releases and other communication materials, monitoring news coverage, compiling press clips, taking pictures, utilizing Canva and other graphic design platforms, and assisting with social media content creation. Qualified candidates should have strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Experience with digital media, graphic design, or video editing is preferred. Prior Hill experience is preferred but not required.
