Join us as an intern at Kosovo's pioneering girls' soccer league supported by UNICEF and Kosovo's President Vjosa Osmani! Please note, applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Internships can take place during the school year or summer break. Internships last for 6+ weeks. You will get a chance to specify when you would like to start your internship.
KFV Prishtina Girl's Soccer League stands as the first professional club offering girls starting at the age of 4 the opportunity to play soccer throughout Kosovo. KFV has been successful in establishing an environment in which girls, who were typically denied access to soccer, can pursue their passion to join a team and stand shoulder to shoulder with their peers.
You can be a valued member of a dedicated team committed to promoting gender equity and advocating for girls through the beautiful game of soccer. The mission is to create a supportive environment where girls can confidently explore their interests in sports and receive the recognition they rightfully deserve. Be part of this change to break down gender stereotypes in soccer and empower girls both on and off the field!
- KFV has had an incredible journey so far, with projects including:
- Establishing the Senior Girls Team, competing in the First League of the Football Federation of Kosovo.
- Launching the first-ever soccer team for girls with Down Syndrome in Kosovo, providing invaluable opportunities for all girls who are interested.
- Setting up school soccer teams for girls, contributing to the popularization of soccer among girls and using sports to improve their overall social and emotional wellbeing.
