Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Operations Specialist to join our client's team. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and apply their expertise in waste treatment and disposal services. This role requires excellent communication skills to engage with clients, understand their technical requirements, deliver customized solutions, and ensure client satisfaction through ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the overall success of the organization by applying knowledge and skills in waste treatment and disposal services.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, deliver customized solutions, and ensure satisfaction through ongoing communication and attentive support.
- Client Meetings: Meet with clients to discuss waste management solutions, analyze laboratory results and safety data sheets, and compile technical data into comprehensive reports.
- Communication Coordination: Help coordinate communications to respond to customer inquiries.
- Regulatory Support: Support the investigation and application of hazardous waste regulations, aid in waste classification, collaborate with internal teams to evaluate treatment options, and comply with transportation guidelines.
- Solution Provision: Assist in providing solutions that meet quality and regulatory standards, support performing technical evaluations, and facilitate communication between departments.
- Customer Relations: Help maintain customer pricing records, focus on customer retention and business development.
- Additional Duties: Perform other non-essential tasks as assigned or necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2+ years of proven experience in waste disposal, chemistry, or a related industry providing technical expertise.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Possess a high degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detecting inconsistencies in data.
- Autonomous and Collaborative Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent at managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documentation, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Superior Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to present findings concisely.
- Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Skilled in negotiation and adept at resolving issues efficiently.
- Team Player: Capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously while thriving in a team environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF writer tools.

Salary Range:
- $60,000 - $70,000 commensurate with experience
