Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers, ECE, PreK, K-12, to join our educational team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment for students in the absence of their regular teacher. This position requires flexibility, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for fostering student development. Ideal candidates will have experience in various educational settings, including daycare and preschool, and possess knowledge of childhood development principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
• Engage students in learning activities that promote literacy education and math skills.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and report any issues regarding student welfare.
• Support standardized testing procedures as required.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and behavior.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in classroom settings or daycare environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of child welfare practices and childhood development principles.
• Strong skills in lesson planning and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with literacy education techniques and math instruction is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt to different age groups, particularly preschool through elementary levels.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive educational experience for all students.
• A valid teaching certification or relevant degree in education is preferred but not mandatory.
