Job Overview:
We are seeking an Electric Automotive Engineer with hands-on experience in electric vehicles, charging systems, and vehicle testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in activating, verifying, and testing electric vehicles (EVs) in various charging infrastructures while tracking performance metrics. This is a fully onsite role, and candidates will undergo a 15-minute screening call with Vanita before submission to the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct activation and verification of electric vehicles.
- Perform interoperability field testing across different charging infrastructures and charge stations.
- Measure power consumption, track vehicle IDs, and analyze charging curves and peak power.
- Execute vehicle testing, acceptance tests, and exploratory tests for telematics scripts.
- Conduct regression testing for various vehicle features, including infotainment, telematics, and ADAS.
- Identify and document defects in a ticketing system and follow up on resolution.
- Perform connected app-based testing for EV features.
- Generate and present regular reports on test results and performance analysis to management.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Familiarity with test benches, wiring, and ECUs.
- Ability to flash the latest software on ECUs and configure test benches.
- Basic understanding of CAN protocol and automotive communication.
- Experience with JIRA, Agile methodology, test plans, and test scripts.
