JOB SUMMARY:
Provide exceptional assistance to the Brodie Law Group. This will facilitate smooth administrative operations to ensure all clients/prospective clients receive the best possible representation and provide the intern with experience working in a dynamic law firm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, the Intern must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility in an exceptional manner. Listed below are the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are representative of the work required for this position. These are not designed to be all-inclusive as other duties may be assigned to the employee as needed.
- Take photos/quick shots for social media content
- Draft digital and print marketing materials
- Execute CEO/CFO To-Do’s as tasked
- Create social media, podcast and marketing ideas for daily/weekly content
- Assist with office growth, support/administrative functions, business operations (as needed)
- Ensure office appearance is maintained and tidy (e.g. wipe down tables, taking out the trash, sweeping) as necessary
- Maintain a self-starter, positive attitude with the upmost focus on BLG, customer service and sales
- Provide administrative support (when/as needed)
- Prepare and organize documents, social media ideas/concepts via written presentation demonstrating accuracy and professionalism
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing/faxing documents, data entry, and maintaining office organization (as needed)
- Perform community outreach activities
- Build super fan, 10-day retain, congratulatory and sympathy boxes
- Assist with all marketing efforts (e.g. photos, videos, social media, idea creation, etc.)
- Conduct community engagement/outreach activities (as necessary) to support the BLG and its ongoing branding strategies
- Assist with office expansion, maintenance and renovation projects (as needed)
- Be an advocate for Brodie Law Group
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The Intern must have a basic understanding of the following principles, procedures, and concepts:
- Knowledge of the structure, functions and operations of The Brodie Law Group
- Knowledge of computers and software products
- Ability to utilize discretion when handling confidential information
- Demonstrate effective communication, both verbally and non-verbally
- Demonstrate effective multi-tasking capabilities and
- Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, outside agencies, vendors and members of the community for which we serve.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize work, perform tasks with a sense of urgency and be a self-starter.
- Ability to perform tasks with limited guidance/follow-ups and produce quality products.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Intern will possess at minimum, a high school diploma/GED. Must possess excellent attention to detail, intrinsic motivation/drive and communication skills.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a valid U.S. Motor Vehicle Operator License
