Role Description 

WordPress Developer/Editor 

ESURGI seeks a WordPress Developer Intern/Editor to handle Esurgi’s communications. The ideal candidate has education, background, or interest in Website Management, Digital Design or Content Creation. 

Main Areas of Responsibility  

• Design and refine a website that best represents Esurgi’s image and brand, that is user-friendly and increases conversions.  
• Work with different teams, such as software and product management, to communicate and collaborate on joint projects to enhance the vision/mission of Esurgi through accurate digital representation.  
• Respond to Forms entries, manage the website’s security, and fence out spams for Forms entries.  
• Create consistent descriptions and embed media
• Focus on WordPress content editing and site management; required tools include HTML, Elementor, and CSS

Candidates should have a strong grasp of WordPress, with particular proficiency in using Elementor and customizing styles through CSS. They should also be comfortable managing media and digital assets, with the ability to optimize images and text for performance, clarity, and visual impact across the site. 

Qualifications 

• Adaptability is essential, as WordPress tools and processes continually evolve
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented 
• Ability to work remotely, independently, and as part of a collaborative team 
• Self-driven and motivated. Results-driven, and available with flexibility to drive a project to successful completion. 
• Pursuing or have a degree in or have knowledge in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications or Website Development 
• Highly Technical Person 
• Ability to work and communicate with colleagues and other team’s members on projects. Communications are made through Microsoft Teams.   
• Experience with Google Analytics and WordPress required; Experience with Canva and Divi Builder is a plus. Having a portfolio of previously designed websites is a plus.

ESURGI is a bio-health technology product early stage startup. We have projects including physical medicine and rehabilitation / physical therapy and medication reconciliation. We collaborate with academic subject matter experts on National Institutes of Health projects. Our leaders have developed and built successful technology companies, including one of Fortune Magazine's World's Most Admired Companies and Forbes Fast Tech 25, and have medical research background in institutions such as UCLA.
