Monachil Capital Partners is actively seeking an Analyst who will support the existing Investor Relations and Business Development team.  The scope of work will also require the candidate to interface within other parts of the organization on a regular basis.

 Role Description

  • Lead efforts related to financial reporting designated for current and potential investors
  • Create and maintain marketing and diligence materials, including presentations, fact sheets, DDQs, investor updates, data room contents, and content creation
  • Become an expert on the transactions we have completed, including their mechanics, structural features and commercial terms
  • Take part in the negotiation and management of new clients in our investment vehicles or Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)
  • Assist the preparation of client statements, which will include working with transaction-specific data
  • Support ongoing marketing and capital raising efforts as well as ongoing investor relations
  • Review investment transactions memos regarding new and existing fund investments
  • Work through tasks and projects with incomplete information
  • Complete special projects

Candidate Requirements

  • Current college senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, math, or STEM fields with an expected graduation date of May 2025
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong logical reasoning and systems thinking
    • Ability to analyze decisions through a structured, cause-and-effect lens and anticipate downstream impacts and dependencies
  • Resilient problem solver who demonstrates perseverance when faced with an obstacle
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Enthusiasm for cross-organizational collaboration within a small company
  • Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills
  • Good understanding of fundamentals of accounting
  • Willingness to work 5 days per week in our Greenwich, CT office
  • Knowledge of Private Credit, specifically Asset-Backed Finance, is preferred but not required
