RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION:
Collaborates with the Director in developing research-informed literature, data, and other educational/pedagogical material to support CETL’s faculty development programs.
Assists in the organization of writing-intensive course recertification and assessment.
Assists the Director and Program Coordinator with day-to-day administrative functions as needed.
Assists in the development of website content and organization.
Assists in communication and messaging for CETL’s program promotion and other activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with Microsoft Office software suite and Zoom.
- Commitment to CETL’s mission in advancing racial equity and social justice.
- Admitted to a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate program by start date.
- Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) graduate credits per semester during assistantship, and in good academic standing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with data entry and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with learning management systems (such as D2L Brightspace).
- Ability to work in team settings, pay attention to details, good sense of organization, and see through tasks completion in a timely and effective manner.
- Demonstrated understanding of research-informed literature and data and ability to revise and review material.
- Ability to communicate in written formats.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
SALARY/STIPEND: Up to $10,000 plus tuition stipends, dependent upon availability of funds, period of appointment, and assignment. Appointments made after the tenth day of classes are not eligible for a tuition waiver.
RELATED INFORMATION:
Minnesota State System policy requires that graduate assistants must reside within the State of Minnesota for the duration of their appointment.
