Quality Assurance Intern

Job Scope

Quality Assurance is focused on ensuring our products meet regulatory standards, company specifications and customer expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with product quality record retention
  • Evaluate and improve quality operations processes to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure product quality
  • Assist in supporting business operations through assigned duties under Diasorin staff supervision.
  • Shadow and network with employees on cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of overall company concept including the Diasorin brand, customers, product lines/goals and all other aspects of service.
  • Provides ideas to grow and improve the business. Participates in department meetings and connect points.
  • Participates in designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions and present a final Capstone project at the end of the internship.

 

Additional Responsibilities and Duties

  • Quality Assurance Intern will Improve the process/system for maintenance of quality records
  • Develop trainings and tools for:
    • Writing non-conformance/CAPA investigations
    • Analyze non-conformance data to identify trends and re-occurrences of product issues

 

Education, Experience, and Qualifications 

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in progress required. Currently enrolled in a University or College Program that is accredited. Preferred Area of Study: Life sciences or engineering (manufacturing focus)
  • Capable of working and communicating within a multi-site environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent Knowledge of
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • Attention to Detail without losing site of the big picture
    • Being A Team Player
    • Operating with Professionalism

The hourly posting for this position is $20.00 Hourly. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
