Environmental Engineer Intern
SCOPE AND GOALS
As an Environmental Engineer Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of environmental engineering, contributing to projects that focus on sustainability, environmental compliance, and resource management. This internship provides an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, under the guidance of experienced professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Field Work: Assist with environmental assessments, site investigations, and data collection activities. This may include sampling air, water, soil, or other environmental media.
- Data Analysis and Report Preparation: Help analyze environmental data using software tools and statistical methods to assess environmental impacts and compliance with regulatory standards. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, environmental impact assessments (EIAs), and permit applications.
- Research and Development: Participate in research initiatives aimed at developing innovative solutions for environmental challenges, such as waste management, pollution control, and sustainable practices.
- Project Support: Support project managers and engineers in various tasks related to environmental engineering projects. This may involve researching technical literature, preparing presentations, and participating in project meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work onsite between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Ability to work 25-35 hours per week
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
EXPERIENCE
Education Level
Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
