Summer Camp Photographer
The Camp Photographer is under the supervision of the Creative Director and is responsible for
supporting the photography needs of the Frost Valley YMCA organization in print collateral and digital
advertising, and social media/networking. This position will work to the highest standards to meet
the mission of not only the department, but also the YMCA, the expectations of the staff and guests,
and the best interests of Frost Valley.
Essential Functions
• Responsible for capturing photo and video footage of the daily activities of Frost Valley YMCA to support digital and print marketing efforts
• Some nights and weekends will be required
• Works closely with the Creative Director and Social Media Manager to update and organize the marketing photos media library
• Maintains equipment, supplies and property of Frost Valley YMCA.
• Models, teaches and upholds the Frost Valley YMCA Code of Conduct.
• Maintains professional appearance and decorum
• Meets deadlines and is consistently prepared and organized
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensure that Frost Valley achieves the highest standard and meets the mission and goals of the organization

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: June 23, 2025 through August 29, 2025

RATE OF PAY: $17 per hour, including room and board. ($6,800 for the 10 week season),

Requirements
• 21 years or older
• Clean and Valid U.S. Driver's License - must be comfortable driving Frost Valley vehicles
• Experience with digital photography - photography samples required:
• samples should not be digitally altered with filters, effects, etc.
• subjects should include posed people, candid people, action, & scenic
• samples should be editorial/photo journalistic in style, less artistic/abstract
• Comfortable with walking for long periods of time, sometimes across hilly terrain and through the woods
• Detail oriented, team player with excellent communication and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong initiative & work ethic
• Commitment to working with a diverse staff and population for the fulfillment of YMCA goals
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Prolonged periods outside. May require ability to navigate hilly terrain and woods
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Salary Description
