Summer Sports Camp Counselor
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Summer Sports Camp Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our dynamic summer sports camp. This role involves managing camp activities, supervising camp leaders, and ensuring a fun and safe environment for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the summer sports camp.
- Supervise, guide, and support a team of camp leaders to ensure smooth execution of activities.
- Participate in camp games, activities, and events to engage with campers and promote a positive atmosphere.
- Monitor and report on camp successes, challenges, and areas for improvement to camp management.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and foster a welcoming environment for all participants.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience working with kids in sports, recreation, or camp coordination is preferred.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to participate in physical activities and sports.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to camp start date).
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position for the duration of the camp (June 2 – August 1, 2025).
- Hours 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
