Sales and Marketing Associate

Specific skills and basic responsibilities:

1. Interpersonal skills
   • Have the ability to engage with people and build rapport with customers and local business owners
   • Have excellent verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and persuasively
2. Product knowledge & learning ability
   • Be a quick learner with the ability to understand retain detailed information about various flooring products
3. Some fieldwork & outreach
   • Comfortabillity working outside the office when needed to go into the field and connect with local businesses 
   • Ability to interact with an already established account base, and potentially add more accounts 
4. Sales & digital marketing
   • Ability to promote and sell products through face-to-face interaction and outreach efforts on social media
   • Have the creativity to design engaging posts and videos that resonate with our target audience

Minimum requirements needed:

1. College degree (B.A. or B.S.) in relevant background, such as business administration and management, marketing, hospitality, or communications
2. Basic internet research skills to effectively search the internet and product databases 
3. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and word processing programs) for simple data entry
4. Transportation and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
5. Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred 
6. Pre-existing knowledge of flooring products is helpful but not necessary
