Auditor

As the State's independent external auditor, the Auditor General provides unbiased, timely, and relevant information that the Legislature, Florida's citizens, public entity management, and other stakeholders can use to promote government accountability and stewardship and improve government operations.  The Auditor General's Office is responsible for performing financial statement audits and risk-based performance audits of State and local governments and educational entities.  We are dedicated to our core values of integrity, accountability, independence, and objectivity.  When you join the Auditor General’s Office, you join a staff of professionals.  With over 175 CPAs on staff, we are one of the top employers of CPAs in Florida.
