Summer AVCS Worker
Job Summary
If you’re into tech and enjoy setting the stage for meaningful experiences, the A/V Conference Services team is for you. You'll get hands-on experience setting up conference spaces and running sound and visual equipment for worship sessions in the evenings. This role is perfect for anyone interested in event production, with the added benefit of working behind the scenes to create an atmosphere of worship and community.
Essential Job Duties
Setting up conference meeting spaces. Includes moving tables, chairs, audio/visual equipment and vacuuming.
Running audio/visual production in Ridgecrest’s main auditorium
Being on call to guests to answer technical questions and accommodate needs.
Trash runs of meeting spaces.
Must be able to pay close attention to sound/lighting cues for hours at a time.
Must be able to work late night shifts
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
AV experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move 50 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive motions (climbing stairs, crouching, kneeling)
Ability to read sound & lighting cues, as well as Ridgecrest’s room setup guidelines
Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours at a time
Ability to sit for hours at a time during sessions
Ability to work in environmental factors such as noise and vibration, also weather conditions such as heat, humidity, temperature changes.
