Job Summary:
We are seeking three motivated Bioinformatics Intern to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be to review and analyze Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data, perform report audits, and assist in validation processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate in bioinformatics to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
NGS Data Review: Conduct thorough reviews of NGS data to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
Report Auditing: Evaluate and validate bioinformatics reports, ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols.
Validation Support: Assist in the validation of bioinformatics pipelines, tools, and workflows as needed.
Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of review processes, findings, and recommendations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the bioinformatics and research teams to address data-related issues and improve analysis workflows.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of NGS technologies, data analysis, and bioinformatics tools (e.g., BWA, GATK, SAMtools, etc.).
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
Strong attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate data and reports.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Prior experience with NGS data analysis or validation is a plus but not required.
