Schedule: Second Shift, Part-Time or Full-Time
Relocation: Possible relocation assistance, discussed during the interview
State Licensure Reimbursement: Provided after 90 days of employment
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray to provide mobile X-ray and EKG services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and various other locations in San Jose, CA. This role involves performing and processing portable digital X-rays, conducting EKGs (if applicable), and ensuring that all exams are submitted to the appropriate specialists for interpretation. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services while maintaining professionalism and communication with both peers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- X-Ray Services: Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, ensuring all images are clinically diagnostic and technically competent. Submit and transmit the images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Mobile Service: Transport portable X-ray equipment to various facilities, unload, and set up for exams ordered by physicians. Ensure that all exams are conducted per physician orders.
- EKG Services: Perform EKGs (if required) and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Documentation: Scan and submit related exam paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with dispatch and management, keeping them informed about progress and issues.
- Professional Interaction: Maintain effective communication with peers, supervisory staff, and clients, ensuring high levels of professionalism and service.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for both the vehicle and X-ray equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Physical Demands:
- Radiologic Technologists may be required to push or pull equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs. The use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may decrease the weight load; however, in some cases, the weight can increase, especially when maneuvering equipment within a facility or home.
- On average, the Radiologic Technologist may be required to push/pull 50 lbs or more 16 to 24 times a day.
