Solar Distribution Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Greentech Renewables Cedar Rapids is hiring for an Inside Sales Account Manager to develop and maintain relations with long-term customers, ensure customer satisfaction, and provide sales support. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, organized, and has the ability to be both detail-oriented and work with a sense of urgency. RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties include:

  • Proactive customer relationship management and continuous development of vendor relations
  • Engage in pricing and availability discussions with team, customers, and vendors
  • Create processes and strategies to help customers stay organized and informed, and to make it easy for the customers to provide forecasting for their upcoming needs
  • Self-driven continuous learning and training in solar technology in an effort to give customers advice on products and product alternatives
  • Provide insight into purchasing decisions for the team based on conversations with customers and a well-established customer relationship
  • Provide stellar customer service to walk-in- customers and assist with handling credit sales transactions
  • Develop strategies to improve processes and streamline the supply chain
  • Support the warehouse team as needed with preparing and checking accuracy of solar project orders
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous customer service and/or administrative experience is preferred – retail, hospitality, restaurant, etc. preferred, but office experience will be considered as well
  • Solar experience preferred but not required as training will be provided
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities at once is essential
  • Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency
  • Must have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be team-oriented and highly motivated with strong collaboration skills
  • Must be organized and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Must show initiative, self-motivation, perseverance
  • Computer proficiency is required

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Day Shift ~8AM-4PM, Full Benefits, 401K

PAY:  Base range of $21-23+/hour depending on experience, eligible for additional compensation through Profit Sharing
