Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to adults in the psychiatric unit.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients' responses.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families.
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Current Maine RN license.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
