We are looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant to join the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation. This position is crucial for providing high-level administrative support to our team and contributing to the DCI mission.

This Executive Assistant position serves as the administrative assistant to the Administrator of the Division of Criminal Investigation within the Department of Justice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative support to include but not limited to coordinating office functions, support services, scheduling, handling of all correspondence, screening phone calls, scheduling meetings and performing other miscellaneous support duties.
Additional assistance will be required in monitoring grant-funded programs to ensure compliance and budgetary understanding of their impact, working on annual reports and statistical tracking of crime events of interest to the Administrator, and assisting with case management system data reports for legislative reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to handle difficult situations with members of the public.
- Knowledge of general office equipment and procedures.
- Knowledge and skill in the use of software with an emphasis on the effective application of graphics and spreadsheets for report summaries and presentations.
- Two years of experience performing a variety of office support or clerical work.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a law enforcement office. Notary preferred.
- Base level knowledge of government budget operations.
