Operations & Client Relationship Associate
A fast-growing SEC registered investment advisory (RIA) firm is seeking an Operations & Client Relationship Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support Financial Advisors in servicing client relationships and various operational & planning projects. The main office of the firm is located in Pleasanton, CA
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a client service contact for existing clients and respond to their inquiries
- Prepare appropriate account establishment documents, transfer forms and other necessary documents for new and existing clients
- Answer client phone calls and assist them in account management services
- Responsible for firm's CRM database and social media marketing
- Support new business development and existing business activities
- Conduct office management and human resource tasks in the firm
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- An enthusiastic, pro-active and client service-oriented attitude
- A self-starter who can work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to focus on details
- Organized, flexible, efficient, reliable, & eager to learn
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- College degree in business administration, finance, economics or marketing. Preferred graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025.
- Experience in financial services industry, familiar in CRM database and investment performance software, such as Redtail, Orion, is a plus.
Compensation: $20-25/hour internship. Can be converted into a full-time position with different pay if the candidate succeeds the internship.
