Disney Entertainment Content Sales & Distribution Intern, Summer 2025
About the Role & Program
Content Sales is a dynamic and evolving department within Disney Entertainment. The team is responsible for the digital and linear licensing of the films and TV series produced by the world-class studios of The Walt Disney Company. As an intern with the Content Sales team, you will support the licensing of content to our US and global partners. In the process, you will be collaborating with stakeholders such as our direct-to-consumer services, deal analysis and planning, studio and networks finance, business operations, content marketing, and legal.
As a member of the Content Sales team, you will also work closely with our partners to support the sale of Disney content. This role will also collaborate with other Disney sales teams as well as the sales strategy and analysis team.
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through August 2025.
What You Will Do
- Assist with the US and global distribution of Disney content, supporting deals across the company’s entire portfolio
- Build content and programming expertise across films and TV series, and a strong understanding of the SVOD, AVOD, Cable, and Broadcast businesses
- Utilize and summarize data and research on titles, performance, trends, platforms, competitors, and markets to inform sales strategies
- Manage Sales tools including contract list and customer profiles
- Create impactful presentations that combine analytics and storytelling in Excel and PowerPoint
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with or familiarity with interpreting and synthesizing data to provide sales and content strategy insights
- Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (academic or internship) in media, entertainment, business, sales, or related field
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Major or previous coursework in Business Administration or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through August 2025
- Fully available to work 40 hours per week during a Monday through Friday schedule
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, California area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
