Information Technology Intern

Job Summary:

The Information Technology (IT) Intern will primarily be developing unified Dashboards for the IT Monitoring Systems. The IT team will guide the Intern to successfully complete the tasks during their 12-week internship.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop unified dashboards and display metrics for IT monitoring across multiple systems.
  • Create basic documentation for developed dashboards.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. 
  • Predictable and reliable attendance. 

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate student working towards an Information Technology, or another relevant degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Candidate must demonstrate professionalism when interacting with ABS Team Members.
  • Knowledge of Dashboard Designs.
  • Interns require a minimum 3.0 GPA to enter the program. 
  • All Interns must be actively enrolled in school. 
  • Summer Internships require a minimum of 30 hours per week up to maximum of 40 hours a week.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment. 
  • Ability to adjust focus, especially due to concentration on a computer screen. 
  • May need to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and/or position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or reach overhead. 
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about in industrial environments, and on uneven terrain. 
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures.
  • The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
