📍 Location: Fully Remote (Files shared via WeTransfer)

🕒 Hours: 10-20 hours per week

About LIVE with TY

LIVE with TY is more than just an interview-based talk show—it’s a full-scale entertainment experience! Our production features VIP interviews, game segments, on-the-street interactions, in-studio games, monologues, and the comedic news segment, Midweek Madness. As we continue to evolve, we need a Long-Form Video Editor who can weave together all of these dynamic elements into engaging, polished episodes.

Role Overview: 

As a Long-Form Video Editor, you will be responsible for helping shape the storytelling across multiple segments in a fast-paced production. You’ll work with a team of editors to balance interviews, high-energy game segments, field pieces, comedy monologues, and breaking news-style content—all while maintaining a cohesive and entertaining final product. Timeliness is key, as we produce episodes on a rolling basis with quick turnarounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form episodes that blend interviews, comedy, and interactive segments into an engaging format

• Craft seamless transitions between monologues, in-studio games, and field pieces

• Enhance storytelling through pacing, music, graphics, and sound design

• Work collaboratively with the production team to align with the show’s creative vision and meet tight deadlines

• Organize and manage digital assets using cloud-based file-sharing platforms (WeTransfer, Google Drive, etc.)

Requirements:

✅ Strong storytelling skills—able to edit diverse segments into a cohesive narrative

✅ Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)

✅ Understanding of comedic timing and fast-paced entertainment editing

✅ Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and juggle multiple projects

✅ Strong collaboration skills—comfortable working with a team of editors

✅ Prior experience in talk shows, variety shows, or multi-segment productions (preferred but not required)
