Vietnamese community interpreter

We are seeking Freelance VIETNAMESE Community Interpreter to support a US federal department in ensuring clear and effective communication across language barriers. This is a flexible, ad hoc role perfect for students, freelancers, and professionals looking for part-time work opportunities.
Location: On-site (Must be based in the United States, across all 50 states)
Position Type: Freelance, Ad Hoc (Project-Based)
Key Responsibilities:
-Facilitate clear and accurate communication between VIETNAMESE-speaking individuals and the federal department.
-Provide language support for meetings, interviews, and written communications as needed.
-Ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in all translations and interpretations.
-Maintain confidentiality and adhere to guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
-Native or near-native fluency in VIETNAMESE (both written and spoken).
-Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
-Ability to work on-site upon request.
-Availability to work on an ad hoc basis, with flexibility to accommodate project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Being a native VIETNAMESE speaking.
-Experience in translation, interpretation, or language facilitation.
-Background in linguistics, international relations, or a related field.
