Location: ServiceNow, JLL, CBRE, Google, Kaiser, Gensler, Colliers International, Visa, Uber, and Wells Fargo were some of the firms from the past few years.

Compensation: TBD

Timing: 8-12 Weeks (June 2025 – August 2025)

What is the CoreNet Apprentice Program?

The CoreNet Apprentice Program(CAP) is looking for highly motivated college students to join our Summer 2025 Cohort. In this program interns will be placed in diverse positions across the real estate industry with well-established host companies. Internship opportunities are available in a variety of business lines, from project development to finance analyst positions. The CoreNet Apprentice program has placed over 150 undergraduate students in leading companies in the SF Bay Area since 2005. (Previous host companies include Wells Fargo, Visa, Workday, CBRE - Google, Uber, Gensler, JLL – Kaiser, ServiceNow, and many more.)

In addition to participating in the internship provided by the host companies, CAP interns will have the additional benefit of participating in CAP programs tailored to kickstart a career in Corporate Real Estate (CRE). Students will have the privilege of attending a series of CRE site tours, mentorship programs, and CoreNet Chapter meetings, where interns can further develop their understanding of the CRE industry while networking with high level CRE executives.

What is CoreNet?

CoreNet Global is a non-profit association, representing more than 11,000 executives in 50 countries with strategic responsibility for the real estate assets of large corporations. The organization’s mission is to advance the practice of corporate real estate through professional development opportunities, publications, research, conferences, designations and networking in 46 local chapters and networking groups globally. The CAP program is a subset of the CoreNet NorCal Chapter, whose mission is to develop talent for the Bay Area CRE industry at the entry level. CAP is a part of the larger talent pipeline within the CoreNet NorCal Chapter helping to grow the millennial work force within the CRE industry.

General Responsibilities: Dependent on host companies. Interns will be assigned to host companies that best fit their career goals and interests.

Basic Skills and Requirements:

·        Interest and desire to learn and grow within the CRE industry

·        Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year university or college (Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors)

·        Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word… etc.)

·        Proficient in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides… etc.)

·        Driven and able to perform in high energy and collaborative environments

·        High attention to detail and able to communicate efficiently and effectively

Students applying to the CAP program may source and bring their own internship to the CAP program, however it is still mandatory to complete the CAP application. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis.
