Cytotechnologist (full-time and on-site Tukwila, WA)

Our Cytotechnologist are responsible for accurate screening, diagnosis, and reporting of cytologic specimens and examine cells for study under the microscope in order to detect abnormalities that may be important in the early diagnosis of cancer and other diseases: work at our Anatomic Pathology Laboratory in Tukwila, WA

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accurately diagnose gynecological and non-gynecological specimens
  • Comply with current CAP requirements and State &
  • Federal Regulations including Quality Assurance programs
  • Accurately enter case information into computer system and forward to proper locations
  • Support good turnaround time by working productively and efficiently
  • Support department and corporate culture of professionalism, teamwork and inclusiveness

Qualifications:

  • Clinical education through an accredited cytotechnologist program
  • Meets CLIA requirements as a Cytotechnologist
  • Post 2004 ASCP CT certification with current maintenance
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective analytical skills
  • Ability to use a computer

Preferred:

  • 2 years of experience as a Cytotechnologist*
  • Imaging System certification(s)

*Compensation is commensurate with experience as a Cytotechnologist/Cytotechnician - must hold ASCP certification.
