NAA Business Operations Analyst

The Team:
You will report into the Business Operations team of experienced Program Leads supporting the North American Application (NAA) sales organization. We enable organization success by providing critical business insights and operational support by developing, managing and reporting on strategic programs.

The NAA Organization Overview:
The North America Applications sales organization is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share for the company's applications business in the North American market.

Job Responsibilities:

The role requires a firm grasp of both data analytics and strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual). Beyond the Business Operations team, you may be exposed to other teams that partner on our work including Delivery, Finance, HR, Product and Marketing teams.

The work is accomplished through analysis and synthesis of data from various systems/tools and creating reports and dashboards to deliver insights and business strategy recommendations. The role requires the ability to advise/consult the team and business on areas to improve or simplify internal data tools, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency and quality of work. As part of that work, responsibilities will entail (but not limited to):

  • Support strategic programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization’s business objectives.
  • Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to produce charts and detailed reports to be shared with leaders and peers across the company.
  • Developing reports to provide a concise story from large amounts of data.
  • Use data to outline common themes and trends and make business recommendations.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and present data along with follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected.
  • Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicators.
  • Advising on improved data workflows and processes to improve team efficiency.

Qualifications & Characteristics:

  • Data analysis skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to run/support programs across the regions.
  • Technically proficient to learn new tools and advise team on ways to improve.
  • Highly self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a passion around problem solving.
  • Quality communication skills (verbal, written, visual).
  • Passionate about data analytics and reporting.

 

Educational Preferences:

  • Business Administration (Economics, Finance, Accounting) coupled with Computer Science/Data Analytics experience
  • Candidates must be entering their final year of study (rising seniors only)
  • Mathematics/Data Science & Analytics
  • Information Technology (with business focus)
