Job Summary:  Configures and administers applications and systems, including third party software and interfaces.  Supports processes, applications and products. Utilizes level II Analysts and Supervisor for support and training.  Provides support to business units in resolving daily and strategic issues.  Responsible for support and knowledge of a diverse set of applications. Works on various project teams to implement, improve or modify applications and processes whether they be efficiency related or regulatory.  Partners with business units to support applications and help them identify solutions and efficiencies. Analyze business processes, facilitate, lead and initiate change to leverage the use of computer system capability.  Promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST and is focused on delivering a high level of customer service to all.  Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s Character Qualities.

Essential Functions:

• Serves as System Administrator for a variety of applications.

• Escalates or engages a level II Analyst or Supervisor on more complex issues.

• Develops, maintains and adheres to detailed specifications and process procedures necessary for systems development and product enhancement.  

• Supports and ensures the continuity of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes necessary for the support of applications and products.

• Completes analysis of various applications and systems to provide recommendations to management and business units on their configuration, customization, and integration.

• Researches and recommends innovative, and where possible, automated approaches to business units and management.  

• Identifies approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.

• Works with business units to ensure the proper translation of business requirements into functional technological solutions that meets needs and timeframes.

• Analyzes business unit’s requirements and implements the appropriate processes, systems, and applications to support these requirements. 

• Works closely with business units to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives.

• Works with other functional areas as necessary during the planning, deployment, and implementation of system enhancements.

• Provides support during and after system upgrades, installations, file maintenance and regulatory changes.  

• Ensures that all users know how to properly use new and changed systems and applications.  

• Assists in routine system testing, user training, user documentation, and implementation of enhancements to applications and systems.

• Provide tier-1 support for systems and work with vendors to track resolution of issues.

• Coordinates the resolution and prevention of issues in the processes, applications, and products.  

• Manages system and vendor notification and the distribution process relating to the applications. 

• Assists other strategic bank partners with some applications and systems.

• Works internally with all users of the systems this position maintains.  Works externally with other strategic bank partners and third party vendors.

Education and Experience:  Some college and/or 0-2 years related job experience preferred.  Minimum 1 year previous banking experience is preferred. 1-3 years’ experience with computer systems preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge:  Good interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills are required.  Strong problem-solving abilities required.  Ability to work in a team environment is required. Ability to interpret and/or discuss information with others, involving terminology or concepts foreign to many people required.  Ability to provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues required. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications required.  Compliance/Regulatory experience is preferred.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications:  None.

Physical Demands:  Sedentary position.  Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.   Must be able to view personal computer for extended periods of time.   May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.  Must be able to hear and speak clearly both face-to-face and over the phone.  Must be able to use hands to key information and handle objects.

Working Conditions:  Normal office environment.  Some travel required.
