Universal Prekindergarten Quality Specialist

Under the supervision of the Senior Director, Early Education Programs and Services (EEPS) and the direction of the assigned Program Manager, the Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) Quality Specialist is responsible for participating in planning, developing, coordinating, and supporting the functions of countywide UPK implementation; including leading professional learning sessions, coordinating communications, information, and resources to meet program needs and to enhance the rollout of UPK in Butte County schools; providing technical assistance, consultation and staff development activities teaching staff, extended care, providers and support staff to enhance quality and effectiveness of the UPK system.
