The Oregon Landscape Contractors Board (LCB) is seeking a Bilingual Program Specialist (Spanish/English) to protect consumers and support landscape businesses across Oregon. If you're detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to make a difference, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do

As a Program Specialist, you’ll wear multiple hats, supporting key agency functions, including:

Claims & Enforcement:  Coordinate dispute resolution meetings and process enforcement cases to help ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Education & Licensing: Assist with licensing, continuing education approvals, and website updates, ensuring accessibility.

Financial & Administrative Support: Manage payments, track financial data, and assist with audits.

Rules & Meeting Coordination: Coordinate rulemaking and help facilitate board meetings.

 

Schedule & Location

Full-time: Monday – Friday, 7:30am- 4:30pm

On-site at our Salem office (2111 Front Street NE, Ste 2-101) with free parking and stunning views of the Willamette River.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis; 

OR

An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Desired Attributes:

Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.

Strong written and verbal skills, including explaining laws and policies to diverse audiences.

Professional, patient, and culturally responsive, even in challenging situations.

Ability to prioritize workloads independently with flexibility and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.

Experience working with licensing, regulatory compliance, or financial processes.

 

Special Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish: This position requires proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish. The successful candidate may be eligible for an additional 5% differential in addition to the base salary.
