2025 Finance & Research Summer Analyst

Job Description:

G&A is a world-renowned, full-service design and consulting firm that specializes in museums. We are a certified B Corp and offer interns the opportunity to both develop their skills and have a positive impact on communities around the country through the museums you will help to develop.

Our Strategy and Consulting Team is looking for an analytical-minded student to join our Cleveland office as a Finance and Research Summer Analyst for 2025. The Cleveland office focuses on feasibility reports, financial modeling, industry and market research and analysis, and other strategy-driven work within the museum industry.

At G&A, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and research. You will have the opportunity to work directly on client projects and have a meaningful impact within G&A. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on data analytics projects, allowing you to develop your skills in this area.

Key Facts:

  • Open to applicants of any grade level at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Position is competitively paid; final pay will be dependent on the candidate, grade level, abilities, and availability (at least $15/hr)
  • Must be able to work in the Cleveland area
  • Intern will work between 25-40 hours per week
  • Intern would be expected to be in office for at least 3/5 days per week in our downtown Cleveland office
  • The internship will begin in June (opportunity to start part of full time before then if schedule allows) and will end in August/September (final dates TBD w/ applicant)
  • Note: there will be an opportunity to continue the internship into the Fall 2025 semester

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to different audiences
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment on several projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Eagerness to learn new skills that can be applied to work at G&A
  • Basic programming abilities in Python or R and skills in other software are a plus
  • Ideally pursuing a degree in finance, business, economics or a similar field

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting financial analysis and research to support consulting projects
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations and reports for clients
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to problem-solving discussions
  • Assisting with data analytics projects and providing insights and recommendations
  • Continuously developing your skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and learning opportunities
