Coordinator of Family Catechesis

The Muncie Catholic Pastorate is in search of an enthusiastic faith-filled individual to share our Catholic faith with parishioners, helping them to become disciples of Jesus Christ.  This individual will direct the Sunday Religious Education program for students in kindergarten through 7th grades, as well as sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion.  The Coordinator of Family Catechesis also enhances family life by organizing inspiring catechetical and social opportunities to nurture family faith life for parishioners of all ages. 

This coordinator is a member of the pastorate Evangelization Team and collaborates with the priests, Director of Evangelization, Evangelization Team members, and pastorate staff.  A deep love for the Catholic Church, Sacred Scripture, prayer, service and guiding and empowering parishioners to full and responsible participation in the life of the Church is a must for this individual to thrive and be successful.  A bachelor's degree in theology or religious studies is preferred.  This is a full-time position which includes some weekend and evening hours.  To apply, please submit your resume and letter of interest to Mr. Jason Hart, Director of Evangelization at jhart@parish.dol-in.org.
