Junior Developer (PHP/Laravel) – EXACT Sports

The Role:
We're seeking a Junior Developer with a foundation in PHP and a desire to learn Laravel, Vue.js, and other modern web technologies. You’ll join a collaborative, tight-knit team of five developers, where you'll have the opportunity to work on real projects, develop your skills, and make a tangible impact. This is a learning-focused role perfect for recent computer science graduates or early-career professionals ready to dive into full-stack development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and maintaining web applications using PHP and Laravel (training provided).
  • Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, test, and deploy new features.
  • Work with front-end technologies like Vue.js to create dynamic, interactive user experiences.
  • Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications.
  • Stay curious and continuously learn new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
  • Basic knowledge of PHP and a strong desire to deepen skills in Laravel and modern frameworks.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Bonus: Exposure to Vue.js or other JavaScript frameworks, version control (Git), or RESTful APIs.
