Compensation/Salary:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: $52,000-$73,474.64/yr - no experience cap!
  • Master’s Degree: $56,000-$79,126.53/yr - no experience cap!

Summary: This position provides targeted instruction and support to special education students who require additional assistance in mathematics.  The interventionist will work within the resource and co-teaching model to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies that address students’ individual learning needs, close achievement gaps, and promote success in math.  The Math Interventionist plays a crucial role in addressing student skill gaps, ensuring equitable access to grade-level math instruction, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills, & Knowledge: 

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license or enrollment in an alternative licensure program by the state date. 
  • Endorsement or qualifications for teaching secondary mathematics or special education. 
  • Experience or training in math intervention strategies for students with learning disabilities. 
  • Ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment
  • A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to meet students’ needs. 
  • A belief in empowering all students as active participants in their learning journey.
