Crop Intern

 This position is for a crop intern at Jorgensen Land & Cattle - open for the Spring or Summer of 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain experience in:

  • Crop scouting
  • Tending a planter, sprayer, or air seeder
  • Harvesting crops and forages
  • Handling grain and forages
  • Assisting with other on-farm activities
  • Gain experience in Precision Ag components and analysis

We are looking for enthusiastic students who enjoy working with others and have strong communications skills, as well as:

  • experience operating machinery (tractors, four-wheelers, etc.)
  • experience or knowledge of Precision Ag components or equipment 
  • demonstrate a willingness to learn and solve problems

Position Information:

  • Position is located in Ideal, South Dakota
  • Internships available for Spring and Summer of 2025
  • $15/hour with housing available at no cost
  • Lunch is provided at our office Monday-Friday
