Intern IT (App Dev) - Summer 2025
Job Summary
The Intern IT position is a formal training/development position with specific responsibilities within the IT division. It has an individual work plan that outlines specific duties and projects for the duration of the internship as well as overall goals for the internship period. A designated mentor will provide supervision, guidance, and support.
Essential Functions
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Troubleshoots issues with equipment such as printers, computers, and servers.
- Participates in training and learning activities and processes in Noridian IT process.
- Executes software deployments, updates, and patches.
- Performs basic technical tasks as part of daily operations of systems.
- Creates documentation and prepares technical material in support of assigned work.
- Researches and gathers information in support of staff or projects.
- Participates in project work as a technical resource.
- Works directly under the supervision of senior staff members on assigned projects to strengthen expertise in subject matter.
- Analyzes and assists in problem solving in issues pertaining to IT System or Noridian Applications.
Non-Essential Duties and Functions
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field as determined by HR.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective Interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Possesses knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Possesses an interest in pursuing continued education (e.g. Master's degree).
Preferred Qualifications
Above requirements and the following:
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT and preferably has completed 2 years at the college/university level with a minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- 3 months' work experience
Environment and Cognitive/Physical Demands
- Office Environment
- Ability to read, hear, speak, keyboard, reason, communicate effectively and problem solve
- Requires prolonged sitting and telephone use
- Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, copiers and printers
- Infrequent lifting to 15 pounds
- Infrequent stooping

Below is the salary range for potential new hires.
Salary Range: $17.20 – $20.60
Lifestyle Benefit: $50/month
