The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Part Time Student Technical ME for John Deere ISG located in Moline, IL, you will….

  • Work with a team of technologists and software developers to prospect new technologies for manufacturing at John Deere
  • Support a variety of manufacturing emerging technology pilots, tests, and trials.  
  • Set up and maintain laboratory equipment such as robots, AMR's, vision systems, PLC's and various other technologies for use in manufacturing processes.

 

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Pursuit of a degree in manufacturing, technology, or engineering related field.
  • Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
