We are currently looking for a full-time non-exempt Digital Marketing & Data Analytics Strategist to join our team! In this role, you will work in a collaborative team environment to conceptualize, implement, and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing communications and campaigns using web, email, digital banking, and other digital channels and tools; collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, report results, target audiences, and for other purposes; serve as primary data analyst and subject matter expert for digital channels and software; and participate in projects related to SELCO’s digital marketing channels and user experience.
This position will report to the Corporate Headquarters location in Springfield, Oregon. The Digital Marketing & Data Analytics Strategist is possibly eligible for a hybrid onsite and remote work arrangement for those who meet the program requirements. The successful candidate will need to be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: The full salary range for the Digital Marketing & Data Analytics Strategist position is $31.60 to $47.70 per hour, with new hires generally starting between $34.20 to $42.30 per hour, based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience. This range will be converted to semi-monthly ranges for full-time employees.
Annual Incentive: In addition, all SELCO team members receive an annual incentive based on how well SELCO meets the prior year’s strategic business goals. This incentive is calculated using the team member’s prior year eligible earnings and ranges from 0%-12% (with the average payout over the last five years being 11.07%).

POSITION DETAILS
Essential Functions include (please see the position description for a comprehensive list):
- Conceptualize, build, implement, and analyze effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns to meet marketing and organizational goals.
- Apply best practices to create single and automated campaigns using one or more digital platforms including email, digital banking, website, and others as needed
- Leverage data and digital platform resources to build journey maps, identify target audiences, measure effectiveness, and analyze results.
- Recommend strategies, such as A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization, to test and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor and share digital marketing best practices, results, and trends.
- Collect and analyze data from internal data warehouse and other sources to inform and support marketing initiatives.
- Collect and analyze member data and make recommendations to target member campaigns through digital and other channels.
- Work with internal teams to identify data needed to build reports and dashboards.
- Track and report results of marketing campaigns and provide data-informed recommendations to improve results.
- Collect and analyze membership and other data to inform and support product and service development efforts.
- Assist in managing search engine optimization and produce reports and analytics.
Required Skills and Abilities include (please see the position description for a comprehensive list):
- Strong data analytics capabilities, including experience working with data and analytics tools to identify trends, report outcomes, and provide recommendations.
- Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics, Excel, PowerBI, or similar software.
- Ability to use website content management, email delivery, and digital banking marketing software, particularly Optimizely, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Lumin.
- Familiarity with search engine optimization and use of online platform measurement tools such as Siteimprove, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker.
- Exceptional customer service skills by using the GVAL-HI approach to providing service. Greet people. Value them. Ask how you can help. Listen. Help them. Invite them back.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; and
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent related experience; and
- At least three (3) years of experience in a digital marketing position responsible for data analytics and/or the creation of digital marketing campaigns; and
- Financial institution experience preferred; and
- Must be bondable.
