Workday Adaptive Planning Financials Associate Consultant
Cognizant Workday practice is recruiting for upcoming graduates who are looking for an exciting, entry level consulting opportunity starting in the summer of 2025. We proudly partner with Workday, one of the leading cloud-based software solutions for HR, finance and payroll management. As an Adaptive Planning Financials Associate Consultant at Cognizant Workday Practice, you will be part of a project team working with customers to get the most out of their Workday Adaptive implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their current planning process and take a consultative approach to move legacy models into Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Assist the Lead Consultant(s) in gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, recommending and implementing business solutions.
- Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client, your project team and your Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
- Be a problem solver and find creative solutions, analyzing from multiple perspectives.
- Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization.
- Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of product functionality with each new Workday release.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BA or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Travel to customer site, when needed.
