Behavioral Health Services Coordinator

In this role as Behavioral Health Services Coordinator, you will collaborate with other divisions on behavioral health evidence-based treatment and best practice approaches and will be responsible for managing contracts and projects related to behavioral health. You will:

• Provide oversight and guidance for developing and establishing outpatient and inpatient mental health and substance use disorder administrative rules. 
• Provide training, technical assistance, and consultation for consumers, providers, programs and projects related to behavioral health services. 
• Coordinate contract development, implementation, and management of several contracts for the Bureau. As such, you are responsible for the development, monitoring and implementation of requests for proposals/applications and subsequent contracts that meet all statutory, program and Department requirements. 
• Develop policy and issue papers on treatment and recovery and coordination of statewide technical assistance and training related to behavioral health services and federal laws and regulations.
