JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will learn about the information on the SDS and GHS classification. In addition, about the various simple customers-facing documents and the regulations behind them.
SCHEDULE:
Hybrid schedule – 1 day/week onsite – Mt. Olive Location
INTERNSHIP GOALS:
- Assist with the publication of all SDS affected by the new classifications as per Labeling Manual 2023 implementation (>500 products). This will be the main goal and will provide the intern with exposure to the SDS’ and GHS classification.
- Update Regulatory packets for products we sell/sample that are older than 2021. This goal will teach the intern about different regulations as they pertain to the various customer-facing docs used in the flavor/fragrance industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Major: Science background (food science, cosmetic science, chemistry)
