What You’ll Be Doing 

As an IT - Data Scientist Intern, you’ll dive deep into the world of data to uncover insights and drive business decisions. Here’s what’s in store: 

  • Predict the Future: Develop and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract key insights that impact the business. 
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Retail Operations, Marketing, Finance, and IT to solve real-world business problems using data-driven solutions. 
  • Visualize the Data Flow: Assist in building data visualization dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI to turn raw data into actionable business intelligence. 
  • Crunch the Numbers: Use SQL and other data tools to support data extraction, transformation, and analysis that fuels decision-making across the company. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

We’re on the hunt for someone who’s all about crunching numbers, finding patterns, and turning data into insights that drive action. If you’ve got: 

  • School Game: Junior or senior majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and are proficient in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL (3.0 GPA preferred). 
  • Data Detective Mindset: A strong passion for analyzing large datasets, understanding statistical methods, and using machine learning to uncover insights. 
  • Visualization Savvy: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and an eye for turning data into compelling visual stories. 
  • Collaboration Vibes: A team player who can collaborate effectively across departments and translate complex data into business-friendly insights.
