What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you’ll get a front-row seat to the world of finance through a unique rotational program. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Forecasting with FP&A: Improve financial operating forecasts, analyze store profitability, and support strategic business decisions. 
  • Mastering Internal Controls: Evaluate key business processes, participate in internal audits, and strengthen our control environment. 
  • Tax & Accounting Know-How: Assist with financial reporting, tax compliance, and streamlining accounting processes. 
  • Strategic Contributions: Collaborate on projects that drive innovation and enhance the financial foundation of Hibbett | City Gear. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

We’re seeking a financial trailblazer who’s eager to learn and contribute. The ideal candidate has: 

  • School Game: Rising junior or senior majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a 3.0+ GPA preferred. 
  • Analytical Excellence: A knack for problem-solving and data-driven decision-making. 
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to make numbers work in your favor. 
  • Detail-Oriented Mindset: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
